Description:
This is a FREE introduction course for students 14 years of age and older who would like to explore the safety and basic techniques to turn and shape metal.
This is a two-day course with 2 hours of mandatory safety instruction on Day 1, followed by 4 hours of forging on the next day.
Please note: Submission of an application does not confirm acceptance to the program. You will be notified via email once your registration has been accepted.
*Required Equipment: safety glasses, leather work gloves, closed-toe shoes, and long pants.
*Required Documents: Parental Consent Form for Student if under 18 years of age (see Attachments). You must send a completed and signed form to: Pandora.Oldfield@vvc.edu upon completion of your online submission in order to be eligible for consideration in this program.
