Description:
This is a FREE introduction course for students 14 years of age and older who would like to explore the safety and basic techniques to turn and shape metal.
This is a two-day course with 2 hours of mandatory safety instruction on Day 1, followed by 4 hours of forging on the next day.
Please note: Submission of an application does not confirm acceptance to the program. You will be notified via email once your registration has been accepted.
*Required Equipment: safety glasses, leather work gloves, closed-toe shoes, and long pants.
*Required Documents: Parental Consent Form for Student if under 18 years of age (see Attachments).
Dates: November 17th - November 18th
Day 1 (Nov. 17): 5:00pm-7:00pm
Day 2 (Nov. 18): Group A: 8:00am-12:00pm
Group B: 1:00pm-5:00pm
